The Product of the year 2010 awards Rio Sugar Free Mints the Confectionery winner at an awards ceremony held in Sydney. Thousands of People took part in the Consumer Survey of product Innovation.
Sydney, Australia, February 3rd, 2010: Rio Sugar Free Mints has been voted the winner of the most innovative product of the year in the Confectionary category by the 2010 Consumer Survey of Product Innovation. The Product of the year awards identify the best annual innovations in Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG). In doing so, they help shoppers find the most innovative new products on the shelves.
Rio Sugar Free Mints were officially announced the Confectionery winner at an awards ceremony held on February 3rd 2010 at the Quay Restaurant, The Rocks in Sydney. The ceremony was hosted by Lisa Wilkinson of the TODAY show. The Product of the year surveyed thousands of people who voted Rio Sugar Free mints the overall Confectionery Category winner offering product Innovation.
Rio Sugar Free Mints were launched on the Australian market in September 2009 offering two flavours of mints: Pink Grapefruit and Honey Melon. The Mints are sold in trendy convenient tins with an innovative slide locking mechanism that delivers ease of use and portability.
